Thank you for your interest in our Christmas Family Program.  Genre’s Kids with Cancer Fund has been providing Christmas gifts to the neediest families on the oncology floor since 2009.  With your help, many families have been blessed during the holiday season. Over the last few years, we have noticed a significant increase in the number of groups providing gifts to the families fighting cancer at Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh.  We are thankful for those who so generously give to these families during the Christmas season.

Because of the trend we see, our team has decided to move away from providing gifts for Christmas morning.  Instead, we will be focusing on specific, immediate needs facing several different families.  We are in the process of speaking with several parents and will post those needs on this tab.  You will be able to “sponsor” a family and their need.  We will also post any additional needs we find, such as the need for a plumber, a mechanic, and/or a carpenter.

Right now, we have families with the following needs:  bathroom repairs, new tires, car repairs, and HVAC repairs.  We are currently collecting the necessary information and we will be reaching out to the community for help.  These needs will be posted on this page on December 1, 2017.

If you’d like to receive our newsletter with information regarding these projects, please email connect@genreskids.com.  If you have any questions about our projects or if you’d like to know how you can help Genre’s Kids throughout the year, please email Daunette at dbaker@genreskids.com .  Thank you.
